The Domino Effect

Hey guys! Tiff here. Have you been a victim of the “Domino Effect” via negativity? For clarity, I am referring to being in situation after situation, that goes from bad to worse as time goes on. It literally seems like you are being cursed or on punishment for something, yet you have no idea what that “thing” is. Speaking from experience myself, being in the middle of what I like to call “attacks” is not easy. Depending on what your beliefs may be, prayer is always a weapon. However what happens when you pray and God is silent? What happens when you just got through an “attack,” yet there is another one that just slapped you in the face without having time to recover from the last one? With all this in mind, just know that you are not alone…

The domino effect happens to all of us whether it is negative or positive. Of course, when you have positive things reoccurring back to back, life is great! However when it is the opposite, life can be really difficult. When there are a lot of bad occurrences going on in your life, it can affect your mind, mood and just your overall sanity! Feelings of sadness, worthlessness, even depression and anxiety can come about depending on the situation. Whether the negative energy is from the passing of a loved one, financial issues, relationship or marriage problems, or even work related stress, it is completely normal to feel the way you feel.

Don’t want to get out of bed one morning because you are depressed? THAT IS OKAY! As long as you get up and get going ON YOUR TIME! Feeling anxious or worried about something you can or cannot control? THAT IS OKAY! Just as long as you don’t let it overtake your mind. Having a bad day, bad week or even a bad month? THAT IS OKAY! As long as you know that everyday is a new day with new possibilities. Allow yourself to feel the way that you feel in that moment of those negative vibes – just know that those feelings are not the end result!

When you are in the middle of a “domino effect” of negativity, first realize what is going on and accept it. Secondly, drop to your knees and PRAY! Lastly, GIVE IT TO GOD – in that order! Some may be like “well, I have prayed and bad things are still happening to me.” Well good news – God is silent because he is working! He also may be testing your faith as well. Regardless, just know if you are in the middle of attacks or even just one big attack – a huge blessing is near! How exciting is that to hear!

We all go though things in life that causes us to react in a way we would not normally act via what I discussed above. However these trials and tribulations is what builds us to be who God wants us to be. Here is a quote that I want you to remember – “The only way to overcome failure is to walk straight through it!” Give all your worries and problems to the Lord as he will cover you through it all, no matter how negative the situation may be. Staying strong is easier said than done, but continuously having faith is something that is being learned daily among all of us.

So the next time you find yourself in a “Domino Effect” of negativity, just reference in your mind this article and hopefully it provides you with a peace of mind. Positive vibes only ❤️
